Certification Requirements
To become an NCSF Certified Personal Trainer, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass the NCSF Certification Exam
CPR/AED Certification:
Not required to enroll or take the exam, but strongly recommended before working with clients. CPR certification is required for recertification every two years.
Program Duration
- Fast-track: 4 weeks
- Average completion: 2–3 months in the account
- Maximum access: 6 months
- Estimated study time in the account: 80–120 hours
- 10 Lectures In person training
- 4 hours per lecture.
After Certification
Upon passing the exam, you will receive:
- A professional certificate suitable for framing
- A wallet-sized membership card
- Continuing Education Unit (CEU) information
- Certification package delivered within two weeks
Certification Renewal
- Valid for 2 years
- Requires 10 NCSF CEUs for renewal
